Informativa sulla privacy
This policy explains what personal data the St. Bernard Database website (base.senbernar.ru and base.senbernar.com, the "site") collects, why, who receives it and how long we keep it. It follows Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" and, for visitors from the European Union, the GDPR (see "For visitors from the EU" below).

Who receives the data
We never sell data. We share it only with those the site cannot work without:
- the site's volunteer moderators, who review submissions and are bound to confidentiality;
- Cloud Technologies LLC (cloud.ru), Russia — a document recognition service that reads the scans you send on our behalf with an open-source AI model running on its servers in Russia, to speed up moderation;
- Regional Network Information Center JSC (RU-CENTER, mail.nic.ru), Russia — the e-mail service the site uses to send and receive e-mails;
- Yandex LLC (Russia) — Yandex Metrica, only after your consent;
- a kennel — your puppy enquiry, if you sent one;
- public authorities, where the law requires it.
For visitors from the EU
The site is run from Russia and the data is stored on a server in Russia. Russia has no EU adequacy decision; we collect your data directly from you to provide the service you request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR for data you send us in submissions). You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your EU country. We do not make automated decisions with legal effect about you. Providing data is voluntary, but without an e-mail we cannot create an account. EU representative (Art. 27 GDPR): not appointed.
How long we keep it
- Account data — while the account exists; no longer than 30 days after deletion.
- Submissions, messages and documents — as long as the catalogue needs them, but no longer than 3 years after the request is closed.
- Breeders and owners in pedigrees — as long as the catalogue exists or until you ask us to hide your name.
- Technical logs — no longer than 6 months.
Your rights
Write to base@senbernar.com or use the "Write to moderators" form. We reply within 10 working days (and in any case within one month).
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and protect forms. Analytics services set their own cookies only after you accept them in the banner; you can change your choice any time via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page. Version of 4 November 2026.
